Myanmar Notes
The Myanmar visa is issued for a single entry within three months of issue date, for length of stay not to exceed 4 weeks.
Note:
Entry/Exit by land is not permitted.
Passport must have at least six months remaining validity and contain at least one blank visa page for visa to be issued.
Myanmar Tourist Visa
• Submit your U.S. Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity
• 2 Fully completed and signed Visa Application Forms
• 3 Passport photographs
• Report of Arrival
• Completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Cover Letter
• Copy of itinerary or airline tickets showing round trip transportation to/from Myanmar
• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required if arriving from infected area within 5 days
Myanmar Business Visa
Visa is Required
• Submit your U.S. Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity
• 3 Fully completed and signed Visa Application Forms
• 4 Passport photographs
• Report of Arrival
• A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Myanmar, Visa Section,
The letter must explain all of the following:
Purpose of travel Name and address of business reference to be visited Guarantee financial support and return transportation for the applicant
• Copy of itinerary or airline tickets showing round trip transportation to/from Myanmar
• International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is required if arriving from infected area within 5 days
• Completed Ambassador Passport and Visa Cover Letter

Consular fees should be paid by Money Orders only (which Ambassador Passport and Visa can purchase on your behalf)
Ambassador Passport and Visa Fees
Regular Processing – 4 to 5 weeks $120
Rush Processing – 3 to 4 weeks $140
Ultra Rush Processing - 2 weeks $160
There is a 5% charge for all government and consular fees paid by credit or debit cards.
There is a charge of $20.00 to obtain money orders
